Here is our wonderful tree. It is 9 foot and barely fits in the living room, we originally put a big red bow at the top. However, last year we recieved a star from the Gugel kid's which is really cute and had to top the tree this year. Although it didn't fit at the tippy top, it is up there touching the ceiling.
Our tree has a combination of ornaments. We had started themes for each of the kids when they were born, but then let them start picking out their own, so it tells a story of what they were interested in that particular year. Our tree has princesses, hello kitty, scooby doo, spongebob, stawberry shortcake, nascar, snowmen, football, trains, cars, tools, and so much more.
Colben excitedly hung his ornaments on the tree and said, "This is the best Christmas ever!" I can't wait until he actually gets to open his presents.
