Turning 31 was not as sad as I thought it would be. I love birthdays! But last year I was a little sad at the thought of not being in my 20's anymore. However, their surprise party for me made it a
great day. Even if I did figure it out the day before, I had yelled at the kids because I thought they had done something bad in the barn when I saw grandpa Dave was talking to them, so I gave the kids the 5th degree, thinking they were all lying to me and were in trouble. Until -then it dawned on me and I felt pretty poopy. I ruined my own surprise party, ok the party wasn't ruined just the surprise part. There was an ice storm that day to make it even better, I love bad weather! It's so exciting. Besides the birthday cake and mariachi band in Mexico, my actual birthday was spent in the car all day on the ride home. None-the-less I still recieved great gifts, I will share some of them with you.
It has been so COLD here the last few days we have been stuck inside, I will try to get some pictures of the kids to put on tomorrow.
Gifts:
FireBible & Canon powershot camera - Chris
Coffee Maker - Mom & Dad (was in desperate need of a new one)
Bochner's chocolate - Kara (very cool & tasty chocolate)
Pearl earrings - Cindy & Dave (cute & dressy)
Picture frame - Sue ( I love pictures)
Brother & Sister willow tree - Ron (very thoughtful, will always remind me of all the good times spent with Jason)
And Money - from grandma's and grandpa's (I love money too!)
